Hola readers,

Have you ever been asked if you like poetry? If you have, what did you say? Some people lie when they are asked; they say that they don't, so they don't look like a geeky teachers-pet-wannabe; others say that they do, so they aren't the odd-one-out, in some cases. Either way, this shouldn't happen. People should be honest about what they like, and dislike, when questioned about it. When I was asked by my English teacher, in class, if I liked poetry, I was the only pupil to put their hand up, to say that, yes, I liked poetry. I was the only pupil to put their hand up. Until, one other student tentatively raised her hand. Then another, and another, until a good 5 or 6 of my classmates had put theirs hands up. I showed them that it was OK to like something that others may not, and it's not a bad thing to be different. I gave them courage to show the world what they had a passion for, and what that meant to them.

If you have something that you are passionate about, it is not something from which you should hide for the sakes of your peers. It is a good thing to be different. Trust me, I know ;)

JUST BE YOURSELF

Don't hide from who you are. Be you. Let no one else influence who you are, and who you want to be. Choose for yourself. Decide for yourself what path on which you wish to embark. Don't be afraid to be you.

'Fear is wisdom in the face of danger.' If you are not in any danger, what is there to be afraid of? Be wise, and do not be fearful where the need to be is not.

If you don't know where that quotes is from, watch the BBC's Sherlock. It really is very good. That particular quote is in the special, 'The Abominable Bride'. It is the most amazing show, and Sherlock's deductions are simply incredible.

To find out what on Earth he's talking about, go to Pinterest and search up 'the Guide to Deduction'. It shows you everything you will need to know to deduce anything you need to know!

See you soon, readers!
