Bio
My name is Elody Vanhagan. I first fell in love with writing when I was about to leave the Junior School behind, and start anew as a Senior in my education. One thing that didn't change in the transfer from 'child' to 'young adult' was my love for writing. When my English teacher asked the class who liked poetry, I was the only pupil to put their hand up. Many of my classmates, as I later came to know, actually had nothing against poetry; it just wasn't 'cool'. Poetry is a wonderful way for an individual to express themselves, and should be appreciated as an art to all who bear witness to the great writings of it that this world is honoured to possess.
Take a look at my blog, which I will be updating at every possible opportunity, to see what I've been up to with my writing, new ideas that you can use in your everyday life - like telling someone just how much you love them, for example - and new chapters of the book I am currently working on, 'The Shadow Beneath the Tree', which will be posted every fortnight.
