First poem......

The hills perish under the heat of nature,

The cloudless sky now filled with smoke.

Oceans losing their waves to the flames,

Trees breathing their last breath as they ignite,

as they burn the hearts of the people.

We cry as we run from the billowing smoke

That fills the skies and empties the seas.

We smile through our tears when the last flame dies,

and sing when the last doe flees.

Our love of the forest dissolves us.

The breath of the evergreen keeps us alive.

The smoke disperses in the breeze.

We return to our ash-coated houses,

and praise the land, the sea and the sky.

The trees keep us alive,

but die for the sake of natures bidding.

Though somewhere,

Somehow,

A single human's adventures slay the countryside.

Hope you liked it!
